We know all parts have some risk of obsolescence, particularly as products are expected to have a service life of at least 30 years+. There has also been a lot of manufacturer consolidation, resulting in fewer realistic sources of supply.
At Celab, we seek to provide our customers’ assurance that we will ensure stability of supply of their critical parts – continuity of manufacture is planned by careful review of component PCN’s (Product Change Notices) and LTB’s (Last Time Buys) as well as purchasing history.
We proactively monitor this situation to ensure we have ample time to mitigate any risk of obsolescence before impact is realised.
