‘MAGNIFICENT 7’ – The Celab Training Journey…

Celab, a leading British designer and manufacturer of rugged power supplies, confirms seven of its key members of staff are currently part-way through achieving their NVQ levels 2 & 3. 

These employees regularly undertake work based assessments and attend college whilst continuing their full-time jobs at Celab. For the past academic year, they have been individually studying areas such as Customer Service, Business & Administration, Quality and Store Management. 

Jessica Edwards, purchasing manager says, “It’s absolutely the right thing to do to support and nurture our employees to better themselves. We actively encourage them to apply their newly found skills into the workplace. Celab looks forward to rolling out this programme across the organisation next year, so more staff can gain valuable qualifications”.

National Apprenticeship Programme

As well as NVQs, Celab offers the highly respected National Apprenticeship Programmes, with two staff on the scheme currently and a target to add more during 2017. The training programme they are on is within the Engineering sector.
