Murata Power Solutions (Celab) Ltd, a leading provider of custom power supply solutions, is delighted to be opening a brand new, purpose-built facility in Bordon, Hampshire.

We have recently acquired a new facility spanning 10,000 sqft, with a substantial capital investment in new SMT lines and production equipment. The investment has been made to meet current and future customer requirements for Celab and the CALEX product lines.

The new facility is set to begin operating from the end of May 2023. Structural work has been completed, which included electrics, as well as ESD flooring, and a new Yamaha SMT line, SPI and AOI equipment installed.

The new building is equipped with the latest IT infrastructure, communications, and AV systems, with meeting rooms, a board room, training rooms, and staff facilities. These features will ensure the workspace is optimised for efficiency and productivity.

The last phase incorporates moving the Juki SMT line from our existing premises to the new facility as well as new Burn-in rigs being designed and installed. Our SMT operators have been provided with training to ensure the smooth operation of the new line.
