CELAB ACQUIRES 3RD JUKI MACHINE TO COMPLETE FACTORY AUTOMATION
Celab, a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial and military rugged power supplies, adds new Juki KE-3010AL machine to its world-class facilities. The KE-3010AL joins the suite of Juki machines (GL Printer, KE1010 Pick & Place), completing the trio of fully automated SMT in our manufacturing site.
KE-3010AL
The KE-3010AL boasts several high precision and quality placement features, including: laser sensoring technology, capable of picking six components simultaneously (0402 to 33.5mm sq parts), electronic double tape feeders, enabling mounting a max of 160 component types (holds two 8mm in the space of 17mm), with a 6 headed chip shooter to allow greater placement rate per hour. These features collectively reduce set up times and increase placement rate and efficiency across our production lines.
Ian Brine, quality assurance manager, Celab commented, “We’re thrilled to have taken delivery of this final piece of high-tech equipment to further enhance our factory automation, ensuring product reliability and quality to our loyal customer base.”
“2018 was a year of growth for Celab, said managing director, Julian Wood, within all three areas of our core business, (industrial, telecoms and military). We put this down to several reasons: continued strategic choices within our known markets, our loyal customers and hard-working staff, coupled with truly excellent design concepts and manufacturing know-how. 2019 will be a year of consolidation, following several years of double-digit growth, whilst looking for new market sectors for expansion.”
